Program description

Spot Auto sends text messages to customers who provide their mobile number on https://spotauto.com. Messages include:

• One-time verification codes when you sign in.
• Messages about your vehicle offer, such as confirmation of your request, follow-up questions and inspection scheduling.
• Replies to messages you send us.

We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.

How you opt in

You opt in by entering your mobile number on our website to receive a verification code, or by choosing phone or text as your preferred contact method when you request an offer. Consent is not a condition of purchase or of selling your vehicle.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies. You receive one message per verification code request, and occasional messages about your offer.

Costs

Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan. Spot Auto does not charge for text messages.

How to opt out

Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. You'll get one confirmation message, and then no more texts unless you opt in again. Reply START to opt back in. If you opt out, you can still sign in with your email address.

Supported carriers

Major US carriers are supported. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy

We do not sell, rent or share your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in consent with third parties for marketing purposes. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your information.

We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date above shows when they were last changed.
